Patient Preparation for Appointment

Please discuss any special needs or physical limitations with us in advance. You will be asked to remove all jewelry from the head and neck, which includes piercings. In addition, you will be asked to take out any removable dental appliances such as removable dentures, partial dentures or splints.

Your dentist may have provided you with a specially fabricated radiopaque appliance to wear when you are imaged. Please be sure to give this to the technician upon arrival.
